QUEEN - ID#A560218
My name is Queen and I am a spayed female, tan American Pit Bull Terrier mix. Shelter staff think I am about 4 years old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 08, 2025.
DEADLINE 9/24/25 (attacked on 9/12/25 by her kennel mates)
Such a sad story. This is her second time in the shelter. Notes from first impound 10/20/23:
Location found: Roaming neighborhood for several months. When brought to the shelter, it was noted that she was very good with other animals in the lobby (dogs and cats) and receptive to people and staff. She was adopted, spayed & vaccinated but then abandoned by adopter.
8/15/25:
Found at RV park (Had been seen for a few days by resident) Finder brought her to the shelter. No one claimed her. Finder said she was very sweet and friendly. Energetic
Kennel card notes:
09/12/25 Kennel attendant brought the dog in for being
attacked by kennel mates. The patient is ambulatory on all 4 legs, no limping noted at this time, has multiple puncture wounds on the inside and outside of rear right leg. Attempted to clear as best as
possible, but dog appears behaving very fearfully at this time,
will start on medication per protocol. The patient is BAR,
active and walking and appears stable, at this time.
