She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She began to growl at the other dogs through the play yard fence. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by a female Pitbull. Penny immediately became tense, showedteeth, and snapped at her. The female Pitbull then walked away. She was approached by a male shepherd. She ecame tense with a forward body posture and high stiff tail. She maintained this body language and lingered in his face.
The male shepherd moved away from her face and sniffed her from behind. She then spun around and gave him multiple consecutive air snaps while stepping forward. She then began to roam the yard and explore. She would approach the handlers often and seek affection. She was approached by a female Pitbull that sniffed her body. Penny became tense, growled and gave her multiple consecutive air snaps, while stepping forward. The female Pitbull was walking away, and Penny attempted to continued pursuingher. A handler stepped on her leash to prevent her, and she was removed from the yard shortly after this. Due to her behavior in the play yard and behavior witnessed by the runner toward the dog in her kennel, she will be designated as no other dogs required.
