On approach he was in the back of the kennel with hard eyes, growling and giving teeth to the runner. The runner opened the kennel gate and tried to coax him up. He stayed at the back of the kennel growling with hard eyes. The runner entered the kennel and tried to loop leash him. He snapped at the leash the first five times. The runner moved further in the kennel. Cardo started trembling and avoiding eye contact. He continued to dodge and snap at the leash. The runner was able to loop leash him as he coaxed him. When they exited the kennel, Cardo began to circle the runner while growling and giving him teeth. The runner walked him back into the kennel and he continued to growl with hard eyes at the runner. He snapped at the leash and used a safety hook to remove his leash. Due to his fearful defensive behavior and being unable to get him to the play yard. He will be designated as rescue only. RESCUE ONLY
