He walked with a moderate pull on the leash to the catch pen. The runner easily clasped the collar around his neck. He entered the play yard with a soft body and a neutral tail. He was approached by a male akita and exchanged tense greetings with him. He was then approached by a female lab and exchanged soft greetings with her. He began to relax as he roamed and explored the yard. A male pit bull and male akita were playing in the yard and he joined in their gentle/dainty play. He approached handlers in the yard to solicit affection. He remained social and playful for the rest of his stay in the yard. Harlow is social with other dogs and has a gentle/dainty play style. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, LARGE DOGS OK, MEDIUM ENERGY

Reassessment:
He attempted to door dash as the gate was opened but the runner easily placed the leash over his head. He had a loose body and soft eyes as the runner easily clasped the collar around his neck. He remained loose while greeting several dogs through the fence. He was tense upon entering the yard, tolerating several dogs coming up to greet him. He had hackles raised and alert ears. He began to relax after greeting every dog and spent the next few minutes calmly roaming the yard. He became playful and zoomed around the yard, running up to other dogs and tapping his feet, appearing to entice play. He was roaming with a few dogs and noticed a handler giving affection to another dog. Harlow ran up between the handler and other dog, freezing with hackles raised and side-eyeing him. He may have been resource guarding the handler from the other dogs, but he broke his focus and walked away without correction. He then enticed a male husky and female shepherd for play. He displayed a gentle/dainty play style with minimal contact. He was tolerant of the husky mouthing his leg and chest as they ran without reacting. He did appear to have some arousal issues when other dogs were chasing at speed. He would chase after them and cut corners to body check them with hackles raised. He never escalated beyond that. Due to his history in the home with a small dog and bite occurring, he is designated as RESCUE ONLY, CALM DOGS (REC), MEDIUM ENERGY, NO SMALL DOGS WITH KNOWN HISTORY OF AGGRESSION DISCLOSURE AND BITE DISCLOSURE
