He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He approached a female shepherd and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He then approached a male Labrador and exchanged a soft greeting with him. He began to calmly roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. There were dogs playing during his time in the yard, but he did not engage in or entice any play. He remained social for the rest of his time in the yard but he appeared more comfortable round the calmer dogs. He would approach the handlers and seek affection. Calk is social with the other dogs, but he displayed no play style at this time.

He was taken to the catch pen for the handling assessment after play group. He was given a moment to acclimate to his surroundings. The handler knelt and called to him. He approached the handler with soft body language and began to seek affection. He allowed the handler to pet his head with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his teeth with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch and lift all his paws with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch his tail with no reaction. He displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler during the handling. He was retumed to his kennel without issue
