I am a gray and white Pit Bull Terrier. Shelter staff think I am about 2 years old. I have been at the shelter since Dec 25, 2025.

ACO brought the dog in with wounds already present. Brought
the patient in for an evaluation and noted the patient has
multiple wounds, do not know how he acquired the wounds.
The patient appears to have at least two moderate lacerations
inside of the left ear (upper and lower pinna) and a moderate
puncture wound on the lower left chest and armpit area, gently
and minimally cleaned the wounds and will start on medication
per protocol. However, we do not have a vet on site, and the
wounds appear to be stable at this time (and starting to granulate in and no swelling or abscess noted at this time) but will need possibly further immediate treatment (debridement and suturing), will have the next available per diem doctor examine him as soon as possible, but we will have to place him on a medical deadline. The patient is QAR, amb. x 4, eating/drinking and appears stable, at this time.
