He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a female shepherd and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He then approached a male Labrador, became tense with a high tail, and growled. The male Labrador then walked away. Brendon began to roam the yard and explore. He engaged in some push/pull play with a female shepherd. He remained social with female dogs for the rest of his time in the yard. He continued to display very tense and challenging behavior toward male dogs. He would approach the handers and seek affection. Due to his challenging behavior toward male dogs in the yard, he will be designated as female dogs only required.
He was friendly, easy to handle and seeking affection. Due to his improvement with people since his first visit to the care center, he will no longer need the adults recommended stipulation.

He was alarm barking when I first approached the kennel. When I knelt at the gate and began to talk to him, he became soft and was wiggling with excitement. He was easy to remove from the kennel and was taken to the catch pen. He was easily collared in the catch pen. He then began to cough and display URI symptoms, so he was not brought into play group. A handing assessment was conducted instead. The handler knelt and called to him. He approached the handler with soft body language and began to seek affection. He allowed the handler to pet his head with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his teeth with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch and ift all his paws with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch his tail with no reaction. After the handing, he contiued to seek affection. He displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler dung the handling. After the handling, he was allowed to meet a second handler, to gauge his reaction to a different person. He did alam bark when he first saw her, but then approached her and immediately began leaning, seeking affection. He was retumed to his kennel without issue. He does alarm bark at people at first and would do best with a go-slow approach to build trust with a new person. Due to this, he would do best in an adult only home or with older respectful kids.
