\"The behaviors described to day reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior m an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from howthey behave in a home. A dog's behaviormay change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by a male Pitbull. She immediately became tense and froze with a high stiff curved tail. The male Pitbull then walked away. She was then approached by a female Pitbull and displayed the same behavior. She began to roam the yard and explore. She continued to become very tense when dogs approached her, freezing with a high stiff curved tail and hackles raised. Amale Pitbull approached her and gently pawed at her to entice play. She growled, lunged, and bit him in the face. He yelped and ran away. Puppie began chasing him, growling, and trying to bite him. Ahandler used the sound of a shaker can to break her focus and she was then removed from the yard at this time. No injuries were sustained by the other dog. Due to her offensive behavior displayed in the play yard and attacking another dog before coming to the care center, she will be designated as no other dogs required. She wil also require a known history of aggression disclosure fom.
