On approach, was closed inside (staff cleaning outside) he was loose and seeking engagement (low tail wag) I entered and knelt down, he would altemate between approaching with a low tail wag lip licking or moving away from me. I went slow and startedto \"baby talk\" him. Able to pet/touch and handle without issue. Perforned handling \"exam\" without incident.
When I presented my leash, he gave a submissive grin and scumied away from me. I put my leash away and was able to continue petting/touching him. Needs a \"go slow\" approach to build confidence and positive socialization experiences.
