\"The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on swroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
He had concemed eyes, heavy body tremble and required a go-slow approach when being collared by the runner. He entered the play yard with concemed eyes and a tucked tail. He went and sat down by the catch pen fence with concemed eyes. He tolerated dogs approaching him and sniffing him, but he had concemed eyes and a heavy body tremble. He remained by the fence for some time and then began to venture out, exploring the yard After some time, he began to relax a lot more and gain more confidence around the other dogs. He began to approach the other dogs and exchange soft greetings with them.
He remained calm and social for the rest of his time in the yard, but he appeared more comfortable around the calmer dogs.
There were dogs playing during his time in the yard, but he did not engage in or entice any play. He was wary of the handlers in the yard, but he did wam up a ittle over time and approached to sniff them a couple of times. Bubblis social with the other dogs, but he displayed no play style at this time.

He was taken to the catch pen for the handling assessment after play group. He was given a moment to acclimate to his surroundings. He sat in the comer with concemed eyes. The handler knelt and called to him, but he did not approach. The handler slowly approached him and picked up his leash. He allowed the handler to pet his head with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his teeth, check his ears, and hift iis front paws with no reaction. Although he allowed all these areas to be handled, he had concemed eyes and light body tremble. When the handler touched his tail, he pulled it down. He appeared wary of his back paws being touched and would look back with concemed eyes. He was retumed to his kennel without issue. He will need more socialization to walking on a leash. Due to some handling sensitivity and needing a go-slow approach, he will need an adult only home. He will need confidence building and trust building. Due to claims from the previous home, he will require a known history of aggression disclosure fom.
