A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on suroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with concemed eyes and a low tail. She was approached by a male Pitbull. She tolerated him sniffing her, but she was timid. She was then approached by a female shepherd and displayed the same behavior. She began to calmly roam the yard and explore. She was tolerant of dogs trailing ! her to sniff her. A female shepherd approached herin a playful manner, and she gave a show of teeth waming for space. She remained tolerant of dogs approaching and sniffing herif they remained calm. She would do best with a calm dog that would respect her space and boundanes. Due to history in the previous home, she will be designated as no livestock or poultry required. She will also require a known history of aggression disclosure form.
