\"The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with concemed eyes and a tucked tail. She was approached by two dogs and tolerated them sniffing her, but she had concered eyes. She then roamed the yard briefly and then laid down by the fence. She continued to tolerate dogs approaching her sniffing her as she lay there, but she did not retum the greetings. At one point, she allowed one female dog to lay down next to her. She remained laying in the same spot for the rest of her time in the yard. She is tolerant of the other dogs and displayed no play style at this time. Due to an alleged prior incident involving a small dog through a fence, she will be designated as no small dogs required and will require a known history of aggression disclosure form.
