My name is Alden and I am an unaltered male, brown and white Australian Cattle Dog mix. Shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Feb 27, 2026.

02/27/26 BORDETELLA-DA2PPV-
03/04/26 10:36 The patient appears to have red in the white
areas of both eyes, the patient was on a control pole for
behavior and that the patient currently has noticeable possible
subconjunctival hematoma or hemorrhage. The patient is
QAR and appears stable at this time and the eyes appear
clear and not noticeable discharge in noted at this time.

Evaluations 02/27/2026 BEHAVIOR
STAFF ATTEMPTED TO LEASH DOG SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO SUCCESS. DOG BARREL ROLLED, BIT AT LEASH, AND WAS UNDER GREAT STRESS. DOG IS VERY FEARFUL. STAFF HAD TO USE A CATCH PULL TO MOVE DOG TO QT. STAFF WILL MONITOR AND CHECK THE DOGS BEHAVIOR AFTER DOG HAS TIME TO DECOMPRESS.
03/04/2026 BEHAVIOR
While on medical rounds tried to better evaluate the patient and the patient would go to the other side of the kennel and then retreat to the far corner of the kennel, head turned away, whale eyes, tail tucked and avoidance.
03/05/2026 EXIT
As staff approached the kennel, this dog was hiding in the back corner and trembling. He avoided eye contact,continued to shake, and did not engage further. Staff attempted to leash the dog but were unsuccessful.

Due to handling concerns and extreme fearful behavior in the shelter environment, this dog is not considered adoptable at this time. We are seeking rescue intervention by 3/13/26 at 2 PM.
