He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a female Pitbull and tolerated her sniffing him. He was then approached by a male shepherd and displayed the same tolerant behavior. He began to roam the yard and explore He was tolerant of dogs trialing him to sniff him. He continued to tolerate dogs approaching and sniffing him, but he did not retum the greetings. He remained calm and tolerant for the rest of his time in the yard, but he appeared more comfortable around the calmer dogs. He appeared a little wary of the higher energy dogs. There were dogs playing during his time in the yard, but he did not engage in or entice any play. He kept his distance from the handlers in the yard and did not seek affection. Goose is tolerant of the other dogs and displayed no play style at this time. He would likely do best with a calmer dog. The handler knelt and called to him, but he did not approach. The handler slowly approached him and picked up his leash. He allowed the handler to pet his head with no reaction, but he had concemed eves. When the handler checked his teeth and ears, he tumed his head away. He allowed the handler to touch and lift his front paws, but he had concemed eyes. When the handler touched his tail, he created space away from the handler. When the handler touched his back paws, he looked back with concemed eyes. He displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler, but he needs a go-slow approach and is head shy. He was retumed to his kennel without issue. Due to his need for a go-slow approach and handing sensitivities, he would do best in an adult only home.
