About delia: DELIA - ID#A591245 My name is Delia and I am an unaltered female, brown Pit Bull Terrier mix. Shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 24, 2026. 03/26/26 The kennel attendant noted that the dog has green eye discharge and is periodically shaking her head. The patient does have some green eye discharge, possible URI, will start on medication per protocol. The patient is shaking her head, mostly tilting to the left side, cleaned ears and she may have a possible ear infection or allergies and may need further medical treatments in the future, will start on medication per protocol. Doxycycline 100mg- 2 tablets PO SID x 14 days Cephalexin 300mg- 1 1/2 PO BID x 7 days Carprofen 75mg- 1 tablet PO SID x 7 days 04/07/26 09:35 P now has nasal discharge-mucopurulent. Per protocol, will start on medical treatment. Baytril 68mg 1 tablet po sid x 14 days ENROFLAXIN 68MG 04/09/26 10:58 Bilateral thick mucopurulent nasal discharge. Appears depressed in back of kennel. Recently started on meds. Will continue to monitor for improvement. 04/10/26 08:48 Bilateral thick mucopurulent nasal discharge, consistent with URI. Dog was intially at back of kennel, unable to approach kennel door due to energetic kennel mates. Kennel staff removed dog and brought to receiving for further evaluation. Upon exam, dried mucopurulent discharge was cleaned from the nares and face. Dog was offered canned and dry food, which was ate ravenously, strong appetite despite clinical signs. Once separated from kennel mates, dog demeanor improved, becoming soft, social, and friendly. PCR sample was obtained and submitted for diagnostic testing. Will separate to feed and continue to monitor appetitie, attitude, and progression of URI signed pending PCR results.
