Euthanasia Reason - Reason for euthanasia: Based on recent observations and a failed adoption attempt, there are significant safety concerns regarding Patch. The following incidents have been documented: - 04/12/26: During a meet-and-greet, Patch charged at staff three separate times while growling, snarling, and attempting to bite. Assistance from Animal Care Technicians was required to safely return her to her kennel. - 04/17/26: Patch was returned by an adopter shortly after leaving the shelter. The adopter reported aggressive behavior toward everyone in the household, including lunging and attempting to bite. Additionally, Patch was reportedly aggressive toward cats in the yard. Given the escalating nature of these behaviors?specifically the unprovoked lunging and attempts to bite both staff and the public we recommend euthanasia.
