Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 4 months old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jan 19, 2026. I am an at risk animal. Please contact the shelter for more information. STAFF OBSERVATIONS 01/21/26 11:19- dog is in kennel doing well with kennel mates. was able to leash but dog is not leash trained. Let dog lose in play yard and dog was sniffing around did not want to play. seeking attention from handler only. was able to leash dog and carry into kennel. 01/28/26 08:43 Dog participated in a playgroup today. Dog was observed as fearful, submissive, and puppyish. 02/05/26 Dog participated in play group and had seek and destroy play style. 03/06/26 Dog Participated in playgroup style. 03/20/26 15:03 Dog participated in playgroup today. 04/03/26 Dog participated in playgroup style today. 04/04/26 allowed handler to leash and walk to a meet and greet with a family with two small children. displayed social behavior with whole family. respond to sit command when presented with treats and responded to each family member giving sit command. sat at their feet and allowed for family to give attention and affection. 04/03/26 13:46 Dog walked by volunteer Notes: "Hard leash puller. Loves toys, likes being pet." 04/14/26 Dog went to playgroup today. 04/27/26 Dog participated in individual enrichment. 05/04/26 Dog was out for individual enrichment. 05/12/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. MEDICAL NOTES 01/19/26 14:52 BAR , MC Scan (-), Confirmed intact male, Gave routine Vx, Applied vectra, Appears healthy at this time. NLT , shy but friendly. 01/29/26 13:38 Appears healthy at this time has a small laceration on left eye brow pen-g 3.15ml carprofen 2.14ml ok to re-kennel monitor if gets worse. 03/15/26 14:30 Patient presents for bleeding on front left limb. ACT reports hearing patient crying; uncertain if related to kennel fight. Anterior portion of left carpal region was clipped; appears to have an older/scabbed wound (located right of midline) and a puncture wound (bleeding) located left of midline. Patient temperament did not allow for thorough flushing/examination of bleeding puncture wound. Left carpus appears to be swollen. Recommend performing radiographs + sedation if swelling does not improve or if worsens. Patient is weightbearing x 4 limbs; no lameness observed at this time. Placed on vet review in 5 days. Administered 2.7 ml Carprofen (24 hour dose) and 3.4 ml PenG SQ per protocol. Prescribed 700 mg Amoxi BID x 7 days and Rimadyl 75mg BID x 4 days per protocol. Placed on vet review in 5 days. This is the second incident patient involved in possible kennel fight. Recommend kenneling NOD. 03/20/26 12:40 P was not in kennel check back later 03/23/26 16:17 wound on left front limb : healed . resolved
