Description: I am a male, 81.60 lbs, black and tan Rottweiler mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 03, 2026.

STAFF OBSERVATIONS
05/05/26 09:41 Leashed up very easy. Walked to play yard well. Had no reaction to other dogs. Leashed trained. While in play yard dog was very social with handler and played fetch. Walked back to kennel well. Had no reaction to a cat. Re-kenneled with no issues.
05/28/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed presenting barrier reactivity before entry, and came in forward. Dog remained tense and has a mild impulse control issue. Dog also minorly protested handler 2 when handler attempted to use low level tools.
06/02/26 Dog participated in play group style today.
06/05/26 Dog participated in playgroup today.
06/11/26 Dog participated in playgroup style today. Dog was giving tense greetings today wich result in a minor altercation due to his behavior today dog needs to join a smaller playgroup or with kennel mate.
06/22/26 Dog participated in individual enrichment today.
06/23/26 Dog appears to be declining in shelter environment. Dog is stiff in kennel upon approach. When attempting to softly coax dog, dog begins to low growl and then lunges at kennel door.

Skin: Normal, does have superficial laceration and skin appears irritated dorsally on backside.

Haircoat: Normal, does have dry blood smeared.

Legs: Normal, does have bite wound and laceration on lt side of front hindlimb
Gait: Normal, no limping seen at this time

Major concerns summary: possible overnight hemorrhaging. possible deep open bite wound near chest region, patient does seem in pain with touch, hemorrhaging slightly, skin appears possibly swollen. due to time of intake, unable to properly sedate patient for proper clip and clean, patient could not be properly monitored after hours. will put on dr review. per dr.v for patient comfort okay to provide caprofen 3.6ml sq and convenia 3.6ml sq.

05/04/26 09:57 deep punctures on the right lateral chest/ let cranial shoulder laceration on the convex side of right pinna - not fresh Tx) clip/clean during sedation stapled dorsal 2/3 of the laceration on right pinna. ventral 1/3 is left open for drainage. convenia given yesterday Rx) gabapentin 400mg ; 1 tab PO BID for 10 days plan) recheck in 5 days : consider adding baytril +/- drain placement if there's sign of infection / abscess staple removal in 10 -14 days
05/04/26 10:18 sedated with 0.55 ttdex IV (0.27ml/cc torb: 26-08) (telazol 0.55ml 26-238) (dex 0.27ml), clip and cleaned bite wound, flushed with chlorehexidine flush. DR. ahn checked on patient and placed staples on right pinna, patient vitals durning induction HR: 86, RR: 35, SPO2: 96. admin antisedan 0.27ml IM. patient temp was 101 and vax da2pp+lepto was provided as well. per dr.ahn keep in r300's

06/11/26 11:44 Pt came in due to altercation in playgroup. pt had several puncture wounds on L front leg and superficial abrasions on L check Task done:-cleaned wounds and admins hemablock on bleeding areas - admins Carprofen inj SQ 3ml per RVT and Convenia 3.33ml SQ per dr. Rx Gabapentin 400mg 1 tab SID x10 days per Dr. Rimadyl 75mg 1 tab PO BID x5days per Dr.
