A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with a tucked tail. She was approached by two dogs and tolerated them sniffing her, but she was very timid. After the dogs broke away, she remained by the fence for some time. She continued to tolerate dogs approaching her and sniffing her, but she remained timid. After some time, she began to venture out and explore the yard. She began to relax more and exchange some soft greetings with the other dogs.
She remained calm and social for the rest of her time in the yard, but she was more comfortable around the calm dogs. There were dogs playing during her tine in the yard, but she did not engage in or entice any play. She would approach the handlers occasionally and seek affection. Summer Donna is social with the other dogs, but she displayed no play style at this time.
She would likely do best with a calmer dog. She will also need socialization to walking on leash.
