STAFF OBSERVATIONS
08/14/26 16:58 During walkthrough dog was at kennel front soliciting attention from handler with wiggly soft body. Dog is doing well with multiple kennelmates.
08/16/26 08:03 Upon approach, dog was towards front of kennel soliciting attention from handler. Dog appears to be doing well with kennel mates.
08/21/26 14:55 During walkthrough dog was jumping at kennel front ' high pitch barking ' jumping on kennel mates and redirecting - slamming kennel front with front paws with bared teeth and hard stare. Dog would increase intensity when handler approached closer. Dog appears to be severely kennel stressed. Dog is currently kenneled with multiple kennel mates. Was moved out of public view.
08/21/26 15:06 When handler approached kennel this dog began lunging and attempting to bite handler through kennel door. Dog would bare teeth and growl at handler. Dog was removed from public view for public safety.
08/21/26 16:58 Upon approach, dog was towards front of kennel with a tucked tail, ears back, an adverted gaze, and a low growl. Dog briefly investigated handler before retreating towards back of kennel, continuing previously mentioned behavior. Dog approached handler again when leash was presented, allowing handler to place on dog. Dog walked well to play yard without pulling on leash. While in yard, dog was independent from handler, exploring yard, checking in with handler when excessively coaxed, and allowing constant interactions. Dog allowed handler to leash and walk back to kennel without pulling on leash. No kennel mate at time of observation.
