EVALUATION COMMENTS:
'The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.' Queen A5723230 was moved to the side yard to proceed with her handling assessment. She was slightly nervous of being pet, she closed her mouth and licked her lips when the handler grabbed any of her legs. She was slightly avoidant of the handler and attempted to exit the yard a few times. Overall, Queen was tolerant of being pet but remained uncomfortable, nervous, and anxious the entire time. Due to reported bite history and animal aggression Queen will be rescue only with a bite disclosure form and a known history of aggression form.
