It took some coaxing and a slow approach to leash/remove him from the kennel. Hank was taken to the catch pen and was collared/leashed using a slow approach. Hank greeted the dogs at the barrier with a tense/timid demeanor and was guided into the play yard. Hank displayed a slightly tense body, closed mouth, ears back, low tail, and soft eyes. He appeared tense/timid around the dogs and used the handlers as a shield. Hank remained by the handler's seeking engagement form them and becoming loose/wiggly when receiving petting. Hank spent the majority of the play session amongst the handlers and after time socialized with other calm dogs around them. Hank appeared to prefer to be amongst the handlers and was tolerant of the calm gentle/dainty dogs. Hank maintained a calm demeanor displaying no play style and was able to co-exist.
