' \"The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by two dogs and exchanged soft greetings with them both. After the dogs broke away, she began to roam the yard and explore. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. She didn't engage in play, but she remained very social with the other dogs. She is a young puppy and would benefit from continued socialization with other dogs to continuing building her confidence. She would proach the handlers and seek affection. She is social with the other dogs, but she displayed no play style at this time. She will also need socialization to walking on leash. Due to a previous incident involving chickens, she will be designated as no poultry required and will need a known history of aggression disclosure fom.
