A3741618 Oreo is a handsome, amiable 7-year-old black-with-white (and a hint of brindle) male German Shepherd and Chow Chow mix whose owner surrendered him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center (we don?t know why) on June 29th. Weighting 73 lbs, this guy shows signs of being house trained and is okay on leash but could benefit from just enough training to become a great walking companion. He?s pretty stressed in the shelter environment, essentially confused by having been left. He likes to lean on his person for comfort, and he?s a friendly, loving guy who?d make a great family dog. We think Oreo will be a valuable addition to any family or for any individual who appreciates a nice, strong guy who?ll take part in activities and grace their household (and probably their couch) as a beloved indoor pet.
