A4994592 Scruffy is a dapper 4-year old merle-with-white Beagle and Australian Cattle Dog mix who was found as a stray in La Puente on September 19th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing 22 lbs, Scruffy has many of the traits for which Beagles are prized: he is agreeable, friendly, curious, and eager to get out and explore. He will be an ideal companion for walks around the neighborhood, and we think will have the stamina even for some longer hikes. Walking with him is a pleasure thanks to his lovely leash manners and friendly attitude towards other dogs and people. Scruffy also appears to be housebroken already. Scruffy will fit right into any home looking for a confident, friendly, and independent indoor pet and best companion.
