RESCUE ONLY. A5004223 Charlie is a show-stopping 3-year-old tan-and-black male German Shepherd whose owners turned him over to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on October 21st saying that they'd had him for over a year and had trouble containing him. Weighing 68 lbs, Charlie is, according to his former owners, good with small children and with other dogs; they also said he spent his life in the yard (a huge clue as to why they may have had trouble \"containing\" him!). Charlie is sweet, amiable, affectionate, and good natured; he also seems to have the German Shepherd smarts, which will be an asset for teaching him the social graces and manners he?s never been schooled in. With his loving assets and his classic German Shepherd gait and demeanor, Charlie will make a valuable and pleasing indoor pet for any individual or family who keeps him engaged and includes him in lots of family doings and activities.
