A5079255 Whisker is a charismatic, home-run 2-year-old red-with-cream male Chihuahua whose owner left him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on June 17th because of landlord problems. Weighing 8 lbs, Whisker is a bit overwhelmed in the chaotic shelter environment, but he is nonetheless cooperative and eager to please. He struts along confidently and quickly on leash, and he's also happy to be held. He gets along nicely with other dogs and shows signs of being housebroken. Whisker is an even-keel, good-natured little dog who will fit into any loving home (whose kids, if any, are old enough to respect Whisker's small stature) as a cherished indoor pet and companion.
