A5131909 RESCUE ONLY Camry is an affectionate 2-year-old black spayed female Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever mix who was found as a stray in Baldwin Park and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on November 21st. Weighing 50 lbs, Camry is a sporty gal who will be an awesome buddy to go with you on walks, hikes, or other adventures. She knows how to walk on leash, but needs some additional leash training to polish her manners. Camry passed her shelter-administered temperament test, during which she demonstrated her attentiveness and that she already knows some basic commands like \"sit.\" We noticed that, at least in the shelter environment, she seems a little nervous around very young children, so are recommending her for households with tweens, teens, and adults only. Camry participates in the shelter's playgroups, but she is usually more interested in running around and exploring the play area on her own than actually playing with other dogs. Once she has some time to decompress from the stressful shelter environment, we expect she will become more interested in engaging with dogs as well. Camry is a stunning dog with a gentle, happy personality. She will be an awesome addition to any household as an indoor pet and companion. For more information on this pet, contact volunteer UHA adoption coordinator Jana at 857-998-7970 or jana@hope4animals.org.
