A5145827 Luna is happy-go-lucky 4-year-old fawn-and-white spayed female pit bull mix who was found as a stray in Hacienda Heights and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on January 25th. Weighing 63 lbs, Luna is a sweet and sporty gal who would love to join you on walks, hikes, or other adventures. She walks respectably on leash, but could use a refresher to make her an ideal walking partner as she tends to veer a bit when excited. She knows how to sit on command and seems to be housebroken already, too. Luna sailed through her shelter-administered temperament test, and was happy and excited to meet other dogs while out with our volunteers. We believe Luna was someone's beloved indoor companion, and we hope she can become that again, and soon! Luna is an all-around great dog who will be a great addition to an active household, including households with kids old enough to throw a ball for her.
