About roxy: A5173242 Roxy is a loving 7-year-old brindle-with-black spayed female Pit Bull and German Shepherd mix who came in to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as an owner surrender on April 28th because her family no longer wanted the responsibility of owning a dog. Weighing 65 lbs, Roxy is an absolute sweetheart. It is no surprise she aced her shelter-administered temperament test. Roxy came right up to our volunteers with a wagging tail, she is just an all-around happy girl. She loves people, is great with other dogs and has lots of fun in the shelter run playgroups. Roxy is super easy to handle and seems to have a little training already as she knows how to ?sit? on command, plus, she seems to be housebroken. Roxy has a mild skin condition on her rump and tail that is healing well. Cheerful, loving, and well-behaved, Roxy is a wonderful, loyal indoor companion for any individual or family and would be a great choice for first-time dog guardians or anyone seeking a plug-and-play larger dog. For more information on this pet, contact volunteer UHA adoption coordinator Jana at 857-998-7970 or jana@hope4animals.org.
