He needed a home without other dogs, cats in an adult home until he was further assessed.

Maxwell came in as a stray with no owner information.

While he was running stray, he attacked and injured a dog that was on leash with his owner.

In shelter he can be walked by staff members but can be reactive towards other dogs.

In one incident he charged out of the kennel and when the ACA tried to stop him, he redirected and bit the staff member in the hand.

He needed a higher level of training than the shelter can provide him.
