bentley
Breed:Labrador Retriever
Profile:Medium size adult
male
He was wary of the collar with a tense body but tolerated the collar being clasped around his neck. He timidly entered the yard with ears back and a tucked tail. He tolerated several dogs coming up to greet him, returning brief nose-to-nose greetings. He spent the next few minutes calmly roaming the yard, tolerating the other dogs coming up to greet him. He then approached a handler with soft eyes and neutral tail wag to solicit affection. As he resumed roaming a male lab came up to him obnoxiously. Bently lip curled and backed away, not comfortable with the energy. He began to relax as time passed. He was much more relaxed with the other dogs. The male lab came back up to him playfully. This time Bentley accepted the invitation for play. He spent several minutes chasing around the yard, spinning and play bowing. He was not comfortable with any physical play and would growl or snap at them if they used their body while chasing. He would resume playing and chasing with them soon after and stop again with repeated contact. He prefers a gentle/dainty play style with no contact. He is under socialized and needs confidence building. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, CALM DOGS (REC), MEDIUM ENERGY
