Eval Comments: She was laying at the back of the kennel when the runner approached. She had concemed eyes and a light body tremble. The
runner knelt and began to verbally coax her, but she did not approach. When the runner opened the kennel gate, she began to give a light growl. She was easy to loop leash inside the kennel, as she remained at the back, but continued to give a light growl. She was resistant to walk on leash and appeared to not be leash trained. The runner knelt next to her and verbally reassured her. She allowed the runner to pet her and rope muzzle her as precaution She then allowed the runner to pick her up and cary her to the play yard. She entered the catch pen with concemed eyes and a tucked tail. She was avoidant of the play yard fence and did not greet the other dogs. She was easty collared by the runner but maintamed concemed eyes. She entered the play yard and sat down in the middle with a light body tremble. She was approached by a high energy male puppy. She immediately gave him a growl and show of teeth waming for space but remained sitting in the same spot. After a short time, she began to roam the yard to herself and explore her surroundings. She was more tolerant of very calm dogs approaching her and sniffing her from behind. She continued to give growl wamings for space to higher energy dogs or dogs that lingered near her face. She would do best with a very calm dog that would respect her space. She would approach one of the handlers in the yard and seek affection but required a go-slow approach. Due to herneed for a slow approach and trust building, she will be designated as adults only recommended.
