The runner knelt at the kennel gate and began to verbally coax her, but she did not approach. She dodged the leash a few times in the kennel before the runner was able to loop leash her. She required some verbal coaxing to exit the kennel. She walked to the play yard behind the runner and required some verbal coaxing along their way. She entered the catch pen with concerned eyes and a low body. She was avoidant of the play yard fence and did not greet the other dogs. She was head shy and required a go-slow approach to be collared by the runner. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by two dogs at the same time and exchanged soft greetings with them both. She began to calmly roam the yard and explore her surroundings. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She offered a play bowto a male husky and they engaged in some gentle/dainty play. She remained social with the dogs for the rest of her time in the yard but appeared a little wary of higher energy dogs or higher contact in play. She would create space away from these dogs. She would approach the handlers in the yard but need a go slow approach. Corazon is social with the other dogs and prefers a gentle/dainty play style but appears more comfortable around calmer dogs. She was given a moment to acclimate to her surroundings. The handler knelt and called to her. She approached the handler slowly with soft eyes and low tail. She allowed the handler to pet her on the head with no reaction. She allowed the handler to check her teeth with no reaction. She allowed the handler to check her ears with no reaction. She allowed the handler to touch and lift all of her paws with no reaction. When the handler touched her tail, she sat down. She was retumed to her kennel without issue. She displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler dunng the handling but is wary of faster movements and needs a very go-slow approach. Due to doing best with a go-slow approach and time to build some trust, she will be designated as adults only required at this time.
