About garnet: GARNET - ID#A576538
My name is Garnet and I am an unaltered female, black and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Feb 24, 2025.
Garnet is another one who is on the list due to being "fearful" in a place that can take their life at any moment. The staff approached the dog at the kennel, he did not engage with staff. So now Garnet is thrown on the next list. These poor dogs live in a dark cell, where the sound is intensified. Who wouldn't have a natural fear in this place? Being "fearful" in a facility is a death sentence, when did normal feelings of fear become a reason to euthanize a dog? Garnet needs help! Once out of the facility these dogs thrive and are completely different. Can anyone foster or are looking to adopt? She deserves a chance at life, can anyone give her that chance?
