The runner sectioned her off to one side of the kennel by closing the dividing hatch, due to her being housed with another dog. When the runner opened the kennel gate, she retreated to the back of the kennel with concemed eyes and began to pace. She dodged the leash a few times before the runner was able to loop leash her. Once on leash she became resistant, pulling back and falling. Due to her being untrained on leash, a roll cart was used to transport her safely to the play yard. In the catch pen she had concemed eyes and tucked tal. She was avoidant of the play yard fence and did not greet the other dogs. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by a female husky. She was tolerant of her sniffing her, but did not retum the greeting. She then began to roam the yard and explore her surroundings. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She continued to remain tolerant of dogs approaching her and sniffing her, but did not retum the greetings. After a while, she began to relax more and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. She remained social with the other dogs for the rest of her time in the yard, but was more comfortable around the calmer dogs. She began to approach the handlers and seek affection. Bredie is social with the other dogs but has no play style at this time. She was taken to the catch pen for the handling assessment after play group. She was given a moment to acclimate to her surroundings. The handler knelt and called to her. She approached the handler willingly with a relaxed body, soft eyes and low tail wag. She began to seek affection from the handler. She allowed the handler to pet her on the head with no reaction. She allowed the handler to check her teeth with no reaction. She allowed the handler to check her ears with no reaction. She allowed the handler to touch and lift all four of her paws with no reaction. She allowed the handler to touch her tail with no reaction. After the handling, she continued to seek affection from the handler. She was retumed to her kennel without issue. She displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the hander during the handing but wil need training on leash.
