She would not approach despite the runner coaxing her. The runner stepped in and kneeled next to her. She would not lift her head for the leash so the runner lifted her head up and placed the leash over her head. She was wary to exit, requing coaxing and once out she pancaked on the ground. The runner easily carried her to the catch pen. Once in the pen, she was timid and pancaked at the feet of the runner. She tolerated the collar being clasped around her neck with concemed eyes while she laid on the ground. She was not interested in greeting and dogs through the fence and kept her distance. She had to be canied into the yard. Once in, she exchanged timid greetings with several dogs. As she greeted them she began to relax with a loose body and roamed with a few dogs. She approached a handler with a low head and low tail wag, seeking affection. She continued gaining confidence as she roamed the small pack. She was social and friendly. She came back up to handler with a wiggly body and playfully circled him to receive affection. She remamed social with the other dogs for the rest of her stay in the yard. She needs confidence building and leash training. She acclimates quickly to her surroundings and other dogs. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, CALM DOGS (REC), MEDIUM ENERGY
