💙 Meet Mr. Blue ? A Gentle Soul Looking for a Kind Heart 💙
Mr. Blue is a quiet, sensitive pup who?s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.
Behind those beautiful eyes is a heart waiting to trust. 💕
🐾 Mr. Blue is a bit shy and unsure right now
?he hasn?t shown any signs of aggression, but he?s also not quite ready to engage.
He just needs time, patience, and a safe space to come out of his shell. 🐶
🐾 He would thrive with someone who can move at his pace and offer gentle encouragement. 🐕🦺💙
If you find joy in companionship, if you believe in the power of patience, and if you know that the strongest bonds are often the ones we earn
? Mr. Blue might just be your perfect match. ✨
🐾 Come meet Mr. Blue and help him discover that the world isn?t so scary after all. 💙

ASSESSMENT

Mr. Blue was at the front of the kennel barking defensively with a tense demeanor as the runner approached. The runner
lowered her body and used gentle verbal coaxing to no avail. The runner shifted Mr. Blue to the inside of the kennel run
where it was quieter, and the runner came to meet him again. Mr. Blue displayed a tense body, closed mouth, high stiff tail,
ears back, and wide eyes with dilated pupils. The runner presented her leash and Mr. Blue moved to the rear of the kennel,
appearing wary of the kennel. The runner partially stepped into the kennel and tossed the leash onto Mr. Blue. He was
reluctant to exit requiring gentle pressure and guidance. Once out of the kennel Mr. Blue required further guidance when
walking through the kennels as he appeared wary of the loud environment. Once in the catch pen Mr. Blue was collared and
leashed using a slow approach. Mr. Blue initially greeted the dogs with a neutral demeanor then became tense and started to
fence fight, he was easily steered and was placed in a muzzle prior to entering the play yard. Once in the yard Mr. Blue was
tense with his initial greetings but shifted his focus on wrestling with his muzzle. He settled and continued to roam the yard
and exchange greetings. As he continued to socialize Mr. Blue?s demeanor appeared much more relaxed and his muzzle was
removed. He gave a good shake off and continued to socialize with the dogs in the yard. One of the helper dogs began to
coax him to play, gently pawing at Mr. Blue. He reciprocated and began to engage in light play chase. Mr. Blue continued to
play and joined in with other dogs. At times when Mr. Blue would play with the females his play would turn to mounting
appearing sexually motivated. He was easily steered and continued to play nicely. Mr. Blue maintained a relaxed, social, and
playful demeanor with a gentle dainty play style.
