He dodged the leash a few times. The runner knelt at the open gate and began to verbally coax him. He approached willingly and allowed the runner to pet him. The runner was then able to loop leash him while he was petting him. He walked to the play yard with a light pull. He entered the catch pen with soft eyes and a low tail. He exchanged timid greetings with the other dogs through the play yard fence. He was easily collared by the runner. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He approached a male Pyrenees and exchanged a soft greeting with him. He then began to roam the yard calmly and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. He remained tolerant of a male Pitbull mounting him and offered no corrections. A handler corrected the Pitbull for him using a spray bottle. He remained social with the other dogs for the rest of his time in the yard, but he appeared to be more comfortable round the calmer dogs. He would approach the handlers when called and allow them to pet him. He is social with the other dogs, but he displayed no play style at this time and would do best with a calmer dog. He was given a moment to acclimate to his surroundings. The handler knelt and called to him. He approached the handler wth soft eyes and low tail wag. He allowed the handler to pet his head, but he is head shy. He allowed the handler to check his teeth with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch and lift all his paws with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch his tail with no reaction. He was retumed to his kennel without issue. He displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler during the handling but he does best with a go-slow approach and is a little head shy. When retuming to his kennel, he was reluctant to enter. The runner assisted him by using the suitcase method. When doing this, he then tumed and gave a waming snap to the runner's am. It was a waming and he showed good bite inhibition. Due to his need for a slower approach and the waming snap given, he will be designated as adults only required.
