Eval Comments: She greeted the runner at the gate with soft eyes and a low tail wag, allowing the leash to be placed over her head easily. She
walked well, next to the runner, on the way to the catch pen. She had soft eyes and a neutral tail wag as she greeted several dogs through the play yard fence. She was easily collared by the runner as she remained loose. She calmly entered the play yard with a low head and ears back, appearing slightly timid of the other dogs She exchanged a few quick timid greetings with a couple dogs before walking away to roam the yard. She calmly roamed for a few minutes, keeping to herself and not showing any interest in the other dogs. Eventually a female shepherd and male husky came up to her calmly. Lace was exchanged good greetings with them and did not seem to mind them roaming next to her. She approached the handlers while roaming, seeking affection with a loose body and soft eyes. The male husky came back up to her trying to entice play. Lacy was relaxed with his attempt but did not engage in any play. She was also enticed to play by a female shepherd but declined her attempt as well. She remained social with the other dogs but did not display any play style while in the yard. She needs further socialization. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, CALM DOGS (REC), MEDIUM ENERGY
