dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\" He walked to the play yard with no pull on the leash. He was tense and would flinch being collared by the runner and required a go-slow approach. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a social male Doberman. He immediately became tense with hard eyes and : forward body posture. The male Doberman appeared uncomfortable around him and walked away. He then began to roam the yard and explore. He was approached by a social female husky and he gave a low growl, with hard eyes. The female husky quickly dashed away from him. He was then approached by a social female Corso and displayed the same behavior.
He continued roaming the yard, marking and kicking his feet. All the dogs appeared uncomfortable with his presence and stayed away. Due to his behavior in the yard with the other dogs and an altercation in his kennel today, he will be designated as no other dogs required.

He was given a moment to acclimate to his surroundings. The handler knelt and called to him, but he didnot approach. He allowed the handler to check his teeth with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch and lift all his paws with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch his tail with no reaction. Although he allowed everything to be handled, he was very tense the whole time and licking his lips.
He was retumed to his kennel without issue. Due to his tense behavior when being handled, he willbe designated as adults only required.
