\"The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from howthey behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out?or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on suroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences. \"She did not like the leash pressure around her neck. The handler had to slowly coax her the whole way to the play yard on the leash. She was given a few moments to explore her surroundings. The handler knelt and she crawled into the handler's lap seeking affection. She allowed the handler to check her ears and teeth with no reaction. She allowed the handler to run a hand down her back and hold her tal with no reaction. She allowed the handler to hft and hold her front and back paw with no reaction. After the handling assessment see crawled into the handler's lap for affection. The handler picked her up and camed her back to her kennel. She was retumed without issue. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION
