Pepe A5674514 was at the front of the kennel when the runner approached him, he barked, he lunged, growled, flashed his
teeth, his body was tense, his pupils were dilated, and his tail was high with a fast wag. The runner used the pet corrector, he
stopped lunging but he low growled. The runner was able to remove him from the kennel, once on leash he moderately
pulled on leash, his body was slightly tense as he passed through the kennels. In the catch pen when he was introduced to the
dogs his body was slightly tense, his pupils were dilated, his mouth was closed, and his tail was low with no wag. He was
wary being collared and leashed. He entered the yard and was uncomfortable during the greetings. He tensed up when the
dogs hovered around him. He growled at the dogs if they sniffed him. When the handler corrected him, he growled (did not
turn to make eye contact with her). He snapped at one of the dogs who was playing near him. He growled at the handler
when she got close to him. He was removed from the yard to overwhelm him no further. Overall, Pepe was defensive of the
dogs and does not have a playstyle at this time.

Pepe A5674514 was moved to the side yard to proceed with his handling assessment. He was tense as the handler
approached him. He growled, the handler slowly grabbed the leash and asked the second handler to hold on to the leash so
she could pet him. The handler used the assessment hand to pet his back, his body flickered anytime she touched him, he
flinched, his body was tense, his tail was high and stiff, and his pupils were dilated. He growled when the handler touched
his back legs. The handler coaxed him, she then attempted to grab his front legs, he bit the assessment hand. At this point the
handler did not want to overwhelm him, he was sent back to his kennel. Overall, Pepe was defensive of the handler. Due to
handling sensitivity Pepe will be rescue only with a disclosure.
