My name is River and I am an unaltered male, tricolor Australian Shepherd mix. Shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Oct 29, 2025.
What a GREAT pic of a beautiful dog who is 💥DEADLINED to be KILLED at 4pm on 11/20 for medical reasons 💥 RIVER tested positive for Canine Adenovirus Type 2 on 11/18 (tested negative for distemper) **so Rescue Only because of the medical concern but YOU CAN still foster for a rescue (shelter don't deal with medical issue dogs in their foster program) ** you can adopt through a rescue as well but RIVER will need follow up veterinary care until cleared of the virus ** RIVER is people and other dog friendly - kenneled with three other dogs about his size **PLEASE GIVE THIS YOUNG boy a chance 🙏 SHARE for Rescue * FOSTER * PLEDGES *
