She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by a male hound. She tolerated him sniffing her, but she had concerned eyes. She was then approached by a female Labrador and displayed the same behavior. She then began to roam the yard and kept to herself. She was a little more tolerant of dogs that were very calm in their approach. She remained wary and would give show of teeth warnings for space to higher energy dogs or dogs that lingered in her face. She would approach one of the handlers often, seeking affection and reassurance. She needs to build more confidence around other dogs and needs more socialization. She would do best with a very calm dog that would respect her space and boundaries, to allow her to gain more confidence
Handling assessment:

She greeted the runner at the gate with soft eyes and a neutral tail wag. She remained loose while seeking affection as the handler sat on the kennel threshold. She was leashed easily and walked to a viewing area with a moderate pull. She was given a few minutes to acclimate. The handler kneeled near her. She came up to him with soft eyes and a neutral tail wag. The handler looked in her ears, viewed her teeth, held her tail and each of her paws without any negative reaction. She resumed seeking affection once the handling assessment was over. She was hesitant entering her kennel but followed the handler inside. The leash was removed without issue. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION
