\"The behaviors described to day reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and dunng assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She became banier reactive toward the dogs through the fence, growling and barking at them. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by a female temer and immediately growled, lunging toward her. She was moved away on leash to prevent her pursuing the terrier. She then went to explore the comer of the yard and was sniffing around. She was then approached by another dog. Once she caught sight of the dog, she immediately growling and lunged toward her, attempting to bite. Ahandler was able to pull her away by her leash to prevent her making contact and she was removed for the yard at this time. Due to her offensive behavior toward the other dogs, she will be designated as no other dogs required.
