Lamy was barking defensively at the front of the kennel when the runner approached. He jumped against the kennel door,
and hit the fence with his paws. He would not settle with a verbal correction. The runner placed his hand on the kennel door,
and Lamy flinched, jumped back, and cowered in the corner of the kennel. His body was tense and trembling, his eyes were
wide and concerned, and his tail was low. He approached the front of the kennel with coaxing, but continued to flinch and
cower whenever the runner moved his hand. He snapped at the runner a few times, but his snaps were slow and soft, giving
the runner plenty of time to move his hand away. He retreated to the back of the kennel when the runner opened the door, so
the runner stepped into the kennel and gently tossed the leash over his head. He required coaxing to exit the kennel, and
pulled lightly on leash while bypassing the other kennels. The runner moved slowly while speaking softly to him, and was
able to collar him with no issues. Due to his history, he was muzzled prior to entering the yard for the safety of the other
dogs. In the catch pen, his body was tense, and he would not approach the fence. He entered the yard, and rushed toward the
other dogs to greet them with a slightly tense body. He was concerned with the muzzle, and tried to remove it several times.
He slowly began to relax, and began offering play bows to the other dogs. He spun around with fast movements, an open
pant, relaxed ears, and soft eyes. He tried to engage in play with the other dogs, but was very pushy. He was unable to find a
playmate that would tolerate his high energy level and pushy demeanor. He approached an older dog, who snapped at him to
ask for space. Lamy lunged forward and tried to fight with the other dog through the muzzle. He required firm steering, but
moved away after a few minutes.

He tried to play with the other dogs again, but easily became over-aroused. The muzzle was not removed during this
playgroup session. Lamy is selective with the other dogs, has a high energy level, and does not have a playstyle at this time.

Lamy was already in the yard when the handler decided to begin the handling assessment. He was moved to the side yard,
and given a few moments to decompress before the handler entered the yard. He was a bit wary of the handler at first, so the
muzzle was not removed for the beginning of the assessment. He allowed the handler to pet his whole body with no issues.
The muzzle was removed, and the assessment was repeated. He allowed the handler to pet his whole body with no issues. He
was still a bit wary of the handler, but remained easy to handle. When the assessment was over, he began barking and play
bowing to the handler. When the handler returned to the main yard, Lamy began biting and tugging on the leash that were
hanging on the fence. He was easy to correct with a verbal correction, but remained over-aroused.
