Kubeba is a confident, expressive girl who enjoys exploring and connecting with her people 💛. She was easy to leash and happily checked out the yard, coming back for attention with a slow tail wag and occasional alert barks 🐶. Kubeba allowed petting and handling, even rolling onto her back for belly rubs?her favorite! 🥰 She showed mild sensitivity around one ear, but otherwise handled her exam well and prefers gentle touch around her belly and rear 🤍. Kubeba would thrive with adult adopters who appreciate her communicative nature and can provide patient handling. She is ok for public adoption with guidance and support 🏡✨

The behaviors described today reflect the dog?s responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A
dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and
unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out?or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may
change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.
On approach, she was closed inside as staff was cleaning outside. She was alarm barking and I was able to leash her without
incident. Easy to the yard. Once in the yard I let her off leash to explore. She would come by and engage with a slow tail
wag and then sometimes attention bark. I was able to pet/touch her without issue. When I touched her left ear she gave a low
growl (ear felt like it had debris inside). She then explore the yard, alarm barked at staff passing by the fence. Able to
perform her handling \"exam\" and she would also roll onto her back for attention. Seems to prefer petting/touch around the
rear end and belly. Re leashed and returned to kennel.
Ok for public, Adults Rec with KHOA for intake exam behavior
