My name is Chase and I am an unaltered male, black and brown German Shepherd Dog. Shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Dec 10, 2025.
EXTENDED UNTIL 2PM ON 1/21 ‼️💥💥 MEDICAL DEADLINE ‼️ to be KILLED at 2pm on 1/19 for possible upper respiratory infection and losing (a lot of) weight 💥💥⚠️HE NEEDS SHARES ⚠️

CHASE was 45lbs on intake DOWN TO 29.20lbs on 1/15/26
Tested and NEGATIVE for both parvo and distemper CHASE is on his second round of treatment for the URI
but is not eating much......
Weight loss was noted by staff on 1/3/26 when CHASE was moved out of the general population kennel which he was sharing with other dogs because he was SHOWING SUBMISSIVE BEHAVIOR and was not comfortable eating around them (being bullied)....
CHASE was brought into the shelter with VELVET by a person who claimed to have found them straying together - they were separated at the shelter as neither were fixed. VELVET is ADOPTABLE but CHASE has been made Rescue Only due to his medical issues...
They appear to be bonded. They can be FOSTERED for a rescue by someone equipped to deal with helping CHASE through his recovery and who can take him to vet appointments ** PLEDGES WOULD HELP 🙏
VELVET is still a PUPPY
