\"The behaviors described to day reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen and began seeking affection. He became barrier reactive toward the dogs through the fence, barking at them. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He approached a female Pitbull and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He then approached a male shepherd and exchanged a soft greeting with him. He began to roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. He offered a play bowto a male shepherd, and they engaged in rough and rowdy play. He remained playful and social with the other dogs for the rest of his time in the yard. Not all dogs may apricate his energy level and play style. He would approach the handlers and jump up, seeking affection. He also had an issue jumping up for attention in the previous home He would benefit from some basic manners training. Gucci is social with the other dogs and prefers a rough and rowdy play style.
